Driver Community

Every single one of our clients has a feedback loop where the user can provide us with their input.

Maptuit boasts the largest collection of truck attributes for North America in the world, in large part because of the feedback we receive from our community of over 100,000 professional drivers.

Here at Maptuit, we believe we have the best algorithms and the best data, but that we can always be better. The universe we work in is dynamic, whether it be data or technology, and that is why we choose to listen and respond continuously. That is why we rely so heavily on feedback from our customers and why we adopted our hybrid approach. Every single one of our clients has a feedback loop where the user can provide us with their input. Our company is dedicated to responding to all the feedback whether it be suggestions for improvement to the user interface, advice on a better route, or notifications of new attributes.

navdrivercommEven if you had perfect data today, it might be outdated tomorrow because the environment is always changing. That is why we believe you can only provide a quality product if you are capable of listening and responding to the feedback in a fluid manner. These are our fundamentals.

  • Example: Driver notices that local DOT has laid 3 inches of asphalt with out first removing a similar amount of existing pavement on a road over which several overpasses cross, but has neglected to adjust the bridge heights accordingly. Driver sends feedback to Maptuit, and the data team immediately changes bridge heights to assumed levels and promotes change to network specific to that fleet. Maptuit’s data team then contacts the local authorities to verify new heights, and having done so then publishes verified changes globally so all fleets can take advantage of the change.
  • Example: I-35 Bridge collapses in Minneapolis. A driver happens to be within sight of collapse, and immediately phones dispatcher. Dispatcher calls Maptuit and alerts data team to the disaster, and the data team immediately publishes the change to the road network globally…before news of the event even reaches the wires.
