Long Haul

Maptuit is the first company to provide street level truck specific directions to the long haul trucking industry.  Some of the largest fleets in the country have been our clients for almost 10 years.  Our long haul clients report on average a 35% reduction in accidents and a 10% reduction in out-of-route miles.

Bulk Carrier

Let's take the example of  a bulk fuel carrier that wants to make a delivery to a corner gas station with a low overhang.  In this situation the only safe approach is to use a specific street coming from a specific direction.  Though the gas station sits at the intersection of two streets, each with two entrances to the station, only one approach safely avoids the overhang.  Using our tools, when a route is requested by this fleet to this gas station, location specific modifiers will produce the safe route.  The end result is that the driver will be directed using the particular road, going in the correct direction, to make a safe turn into the specific entrance which he is informed of by a custom note that is spoken to him upon approach that was assigned to this location.

Private Fleet

A private fleet owner might think to him/herself, "I run exclusively dedicated routes, why would I need the assistance of navigation?"  Maptuit's customer base includes some of the best known private fleets in the United States for several reasons.  1) The road network is always changing.  What is the best route today might not be the best route tomorrow.  2) No matter how pefect you think your dedicated routes are, chances are we can still significantly reduce your miles driven.  We've had the challenge before, and have alway come out ahead.
